SansArt or Antonio Sans Masalias, was born in Solivella, Tarragona, in 1928. He married Pilar Artola Ejarque in 1958, fruit of that marriage, 3 children were born.
He studied in Torrens Lladó "Free Mediterranean School", where finally was asked to go away, because the artist's talent overcame all that they could teach him.
He owns catalogs of exhibitions in all Catalonia, posters published by city councils for their municipal exhibitions. The book "SansArt", written by Juan Llop in 1994, has been the the best publication which better shows the work and the artist's personality.
We can find SansArtin Dictionaries like "Ràfols". Also, in different editions of magazine "Gal Art", "International Batik", "Guide of Art in Barcelona", as well as in "National Artists of the 21 st Century", "Artexpo", "The Císter's Route", and others.
He has appeared in several publications of magazines like: "Gira-Sol", "Gal-Art," "Revistar", "Mutuam", "Artes Plásticas". Criticals and appearances in newspaper like "La Vanguardia", "El Periodico de Catalunya", "Diari of Tarragona", "Nova Conca", "El Pati de Valls", "El Segre de Lleida". Also on TV broadcasts like "TV3", "TELE 5" ( on TV programme "Today Stories", on 7th September 2000 ).
He is member of "SEI", "ACEA", "Goya Aragon", as well as of the "International Federation of Artists", and other institutions like: "Acaps France", "Acqui_Terme" (Italy), "Modern Novosibirsk" (Russia), "Plástica Latina" (Chile)...
His signature is: SansArt, alias that combines the author's last name with the one of his wife, Artola.
